Reconditioned products are a separate condition from new or simply opened packaging. Read the product description, warranty, included parts, and return conditions.
Compare like with like
A used item and a new item are different offers. Compare the model and configuration, then the exact condition. A percentage against a new-product reference price does not establish a recent price drop on that particular used item. Do not assume that every offer in an outlet is open-box; some sections also include new clearance stock or refurbished goods.
Check the parts you need
Read the offer notes for missing chargers, cables, lids, mounting hardware, or other accessories. Add the cost of any required replacement to your comparison. Check whether packaging damage is cosmetic or whether the product itself has wear or damage.
