Privacy at Goodfind

This page describes the features currently implemented in Goodfind.

Saved deals and keyword watches

Saved deals and watched keywords are stored in your browser’s local storage. These browser-local saved deals and watches are separate from watches you explicitly save under My alerts. Clear the site’s browser storage to remove them.

Goodfind accounts and deal watches

Goodfind uses ChatGPT sign-in to identify account members. When you create a Goodfind profile, we store your site-specific account ID, account email, display name, optional email preference and consent time, deal watches, and which matching deals you marked as seen. These records are associated with your account so watches work across devices. Account records are not shared with other shoppers. You can remove watches and turn off your email preference in My alerts. Read markers older than 90 days are removed when you mark alerts as seen.

Email delivery is not connected. Saving an email preference does not currently send emails. No email service receives your address from Goodfind in this version.

Observed product prices

Goodfind records public prices for exact product variants that enter the deal list. Once tracked, a variant can still be recorded at a non-sale price or as unavailable while it remains in the selected catalog scan. Changes are retained for up to 180 days, with a latest-seen record and lowest observed price kept while tracking continues. These records do not contain shopper identifiers. Recording happens during retailer scans on visits; it is not continuous monitoring.

Search and browsing

Search terms and filters operate on the loaded deal list in your browser. The app requests a shared retailer scan from its server. The hosting provider may process request information and sign-in data under its own policies.

External content

The site loads product images from retailer or image-hosting domains and fonts from Google Fonts. These services receive requests from your browser and may process information such as your IP address and request headers.

Affiliate links and retailer sites

If you follow a paid link, a retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technology to attribute a purchase. Their privacy policies apply on their sites. Goodfind does not handle checkout, payment card information, shipping addresses, or retailer purchases.

Sidebar advertisements

Ad placement previews do not load ad-network code or set advertising cookies. If a direct sponsor is connected, its banner image may be loaded from an external host, and its privacy policy applies after you follow its link. Programmatic ad networks require separate setup before activation.

Privacy questions

For questions about your Goodfind profile or a request concerning account data, contact hello@shopgoodfind.com. Mail to this address is processed by Cloudflare Email Routing and forwarded to the owner’s Gmail inbox. These providers process messages under their own policies.

Current limitations

This version has no Goodfind newsletter signup, advertising analytics, or email-notification system. If these features change, this page should be updated to describe the new behavior.
